Throughout the year from January to November there are several competitions held
Competitions are in grades A, B & C for Open & Natural History
Photo Journalism does not have any grades
These are the following subjects;

- Natural History
- Photo Journalism
There is also the Tyree Bros – Portrait competition held 2/3rds of the way through the year
Towards the later part of the year we have championships where the subjects are;

- Innovative (Print)
- Landscape (Digital & Print)
- Monochrome (Print)
